Dear Donlen customers, partners and friends,
As all of us here at Donlen begin to put the gears in motion for achieving our 2017 goals to meet your needs, I would like to take the time to reflect on our 2016 successes and thank each and every one of you for your continued support. 2016 was a busy year, and because of the feedback and support of our valued customers, we have much to celebrate across all aspects of our business.
One of the most exciting accomplishments of 2016 was our move to our new state-of-the-art headquarters. From the open floor plan to the abundance of collaboration areas, you can tell that our new building was designed with strong employee input in mind, and that makes it all the better. This new building speaks to who we are as a company and the value we bring our customers, and allows us to truly function as one Donlen.
Donlen employees worked tirelessly to help our customers achieve their goals in many ways in 2016, and I would like to recognize and celebrate a few of the key achievements we had this year in improving our customers’ experience.
- Employer of Choice – To the credit of our Human Resources team and the way that each Donlen employee lives the Donlen values every day, Donlen was named one of the 2016 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in the Nation and one of Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). With talented, engaged employees on our team, we are able to provide best-in-class service to our customers.
- Scalability – In order to improve our company’s scalability, and the speed and efficiency with which our customers receive service, we released several impactful projects this year, such as a new system for purchase orders that has allowed our Call Center to process significantly more purchase orders, improving the driver experience as well as the interactions that occur with our vendor partners.
- Simplification – At Donlen, we pride ourselves on our high service delivery. In 2016 we have seen progress in three already successful key areas: accuracy, expertise, and responsiveness. As a testament to our commitment to customer service, our call centers have best-in-class answer times, and quality scores have won both of our call centers World Class status by The Fraser Group.
- Growth – In 2016, we delivered on our promise to develop and release products that add value for our customers and help them manage their fleet data. Just a few of those enhancements include our new Violation Management product, enhancements to our Vehicle Optimization Model, and the release of our interactive FleetWeb™ Intelligence Report Builder.
I am extremely proud of all of Donlen’s employees and teams in all areas of the business who helped our valued customers achieve their goals in 2016. There are thousands of transactions that take place here every day, and while they may not always be the things that are on the marquee lights, it is those stories that make Donlen the special company that it is.
With more partnership and alignment across all aspects of our business, I am confident that we will build on these successes not only in the new year, but for years to come.
